Q: What's MyHood's return policy?
A: If you're not happy with the product you've bought, you are welcome to return it to us, for a store credit. This does not apply to hoods made in Make My Hood, as they are an outcome of your own design, and hard for us to re-sell! Contact us beforehand, and we'll do everything to help you out. Please read more under section "Return policy"
Q: How long do I have to wait until I get my hood and/or accessory after purchase?
A: As we tailor made everything by request, we have to allow our seamstresses approximately 2 weeks for production. After that, the shipping time depends on where you live, and what shipping option you've chosen.
Q: How do I prevent my hood and/or blanket from being damaged by the elements?
A: The blankets are machine washable and are easy to care for. The caring for the hoods depends upon what material is used in your chosen hood. There's a care section next to each of our models. Generally there's a rule of thumb: treat the hood like your favorite jacket, don't soak it, keep it from dampness and cover it with your plastic cover that comes with your stroller 'kit' whenever it rains.
Q: When is your next collection coming out?
A: We have a fall/winter line that will last until April -09. Thereafter we'll introduce some spring models. However, as we have the option of detaching the fur from the hood, most of them can be used during spring/summer aswell.
Q: How do you choose your ambassadors?
A: With care. We are always on the lookout for savvy parents with a fashion interest to represent our brand. The chosen ambassador get to design a hood together with us and we'll name the hood after their baby.

A: Both of us have a strong fashion interest, we follow whatever we like...

A: Wow - hard to say...Name a parent that is proud, loving, considerate towards their child and at the same time has a self appreciation and a strong identity. -That person is our favourite parent

Q: Customs and tax for non-US customers?
A: Yes, this does apply to all foreign orders. We are trying to make it easier for you, so we have included the customs in the price and we do shipments to Europe in bundles in order to be re-distributed to you...
Q: The hoods are expensive, why is shipping not complimentary?
A: We've just started our business and we'd love to come back to you on that point. Until we've got the production & shipping process going, we have to keep the shipping prices in there...
Q: Who is producing the hoods and the accessories?
A: A sample studio in the middle of Garment District/NYC is producing everything. We believe in keeping things local so that we can keep track of quality
